In Slovenia, free delivery is included for orders over 100 Euros. We are also able to arrange delivery abroad for you for a surcharge. The price varies depending on the country and address, and also on the quantity ordered. Please call us for more details.
 

Most of the products are in stock. We aim to deliver all standard products in less than 3 weeks. Bespoke furniture may take a bit longer, or as agreed when the order is placed.

You pay for your furniture in advance after we send you the invoice.

 

If you have a Slovenian bank account you can arrange to pay for your furniture by a standing order. Unfortunately it is not possible at the moment to pay by instalments from abroad.

In all cases, we are going to send you a sumamry of your order and an invoice. Your furniture will be delivered within three weeks from when we have received your payment, or as agreed.
 

Most of our products don't need assembly. When you buy a Metal Desgin bed, you will receive all the tools and instructions to assemble it yourself which is very easy. When you order one of our pavilions, we arrange the details of  the cost of delivery and assembly with each of our clients individually.

The production of Metal design garden furniture combines the reliability of up-to-date technology and the tradition of handicraft. The pieces are constructedfrom steel, welded on robot, stabilized against rust. The products are suitable for outdoor use. The elegant shape with warmth of antique classic design makes the surroundings look comfortable.   Products can be combined with classic or modern furniture.
 

Every MD chair or table is anti-rust treated with zinc and powder coated in polyester colour. This paint is siutable for outdoor use. The paint has a good hardness, is durable in any weather and is impact resistant. For good anti-rust treatment the back and seat of Castrum chairs are made from stainless steel. That is the only way to prevent the rain water from causing rust where the stripes are welded together.
 

The process of welding includes high heat. The walls of tubes melt under high heat and thus become thinner,consequently, this part is softer and weaker. When the product is used, the weight that we put on it causes a bending near the welded parts. This bending damages the painting and rust is inevitable. The products made of full materials are more solid and do not suffer from these problems.
 

MD products are a little heavier because they are made of full materials. The quality of products is better, and they are safe in every weather condition. You can leave them outside in windy areas.
 

The MD products have nylon (polyuretan) plastic inserts in the feet that prevent damage to the floor. These inserts also do not leave black marks on the pavement like normal plastic taps.
 

The Plastic taps which normally used on chairs and tables are put over the tube on the feet. The plastic is not hard enough which means that after some time the tube cuts through the plastic and can damage your floor. On the feet of our chairs we weld a decorative part with a hole for the nylon insert. The nylon used to make the insert is harder than normal plastic and the insert is 8 mm thick. Your floor is perfectly safe now.
 

Each of the table’s feet has an adjustable mechanism. The table can be balanced on every floor, even if they are not perfectly leveled. You can be sure that your coffee won't spill.
 

The arms of chairs are made from wrought iron. They are spheric and ergonomically shaped.
 

We follow a multi-phase modelling process.  First, our design team uses computer-modelling to design every new MD product.  After that, the development group makes samples and prototypes in collaboration with the designers. Prototypes are then tested for several months with a group of users whilst we collect feedback. Before putting it in the catalogue as one of our regular products we apply the suggestions made by the test users until every detail of the product is adjusted for a maximal comfort.

Why not? We manufacture beds of any length between 190cm and 210cm, and width 90cm, 140cm, 160cm, 180cm or 200cm. However, if you have a special wish that differs from these, we can also make it to measure.

Metal Design beds are absolutely silent. MD beds don't creak because they are assembled into a compact, stabile and quiet bed. We achieved that with a special profile at the sides, into which the sides are tightly fixed with three screws each.

We thought about this, too. The bed has a protective nylon plastic in the legs, so the metal never touches the floor. You can safely put it on any kind of floor.

All beds are made so that any type of mattress base can be inserted. If you require a water mattress, we can also adjust the frame for your water-based mattress.
 

Yes, they are very stable and solid. This is a result of our special system of assembly. Parts of the bed are screwed together at multiple points so each our bed becomes very compact and stable. Besides that, it stays stable and solid forever, in contrast to wooden beds that can become shaky and noisy after a few years of use.

In fact, it is very simple. We enclose instructions with every model, as well as all the required tools.

Besides the basic colours we can also adjust the colour of the bed to your choice. In case you wish for a unique or antique touch, we can add gold, silver, bronze or green patina.
 

Every MD product has many handmade details. The spheres on the top of the back and the arms of chairs and other details are hand made from wrought iron. The glass on some tables is also hand made with a pattern that is never the same. Every MD product is made with up-to-date technology and is at the same time unique.
 

We do everything to ensure maximum durability of MD products. According to the surface treatment the products should remain the same for at least 5 years, if you use them outdoors. We are sure that you will use your MD products for much longer.
