We specialise in small and middle series productions (from 50 to 50.000 pieces per year). Our technically advanced and flexible production processes allow us to satisfy the needs of every single customer. Our technical staff is highly skilled so that we are able to develop new products fast and to high standard. For milling, turning, laser and plasma cutting, galvana and CNC punching we work with our specialized partners. We have been cooperating as B2B partners with foreign companies for more than 15 years. Metal design was established in 1990 as GmbH. It is located in Ajdovscina, a small Slovenian town, 20 km from Gorizia (Italia). The owner and the general manager is Mr. Pavel Curk. At the moment we have around 25 employees. The advanced and flexible production allow us to satisfy the needs of every single customer. We are able to develope new products quickly, deliver JIT, assure good and costant quality.

Product range

The biggest part represents our B2B production. We are suppliers of metal products and parts for different customers:
-    Tools and machine parts for a German company. We are producing around 100 different tools and machine parts. The series vary from 10.000-50.000 pcs/year.
-    Swiss company, producers of handles for mowing machines. We are producing 4 different handles. The series are around 500 – 1200 pcs/year.
-    Construction/building industry. We are suppliers for several Slovenian construction companies. We make custom made constructions, fances and equipment, mostly for apartments buildings, hotels and public building.

Production area

We have around 2000 square meters of production area . It is organised in two floors.
Ground floor:
-    warehouse for the material
-    cutting area (bandsaws, plate shears, punching machines)
-    boring, milling and turning machines
-    bending area (different bending machines)
-    welding area (with 3 welding robots, with different, quicky changing tools and more than 200 welding programs)
       1st filoor:
-    powred coating area
-    assembling area
-    finished products warehouse
-    packaging
